emember that episode of Seinfeld where the whole gang was enamored with a nonfat frozen yogurt restaurant, only to discover that the frozen treat was loaded with delicious, artery-clogging fat? Well, the frozen yogurt industry took a big hit from that and learned a valuable lesson. Now frozen yogurt (or frogurt as that delightfully insane Simpsons character liked to call it) has been modified for health nuts only. You can’t load it with peanut butter cups or marshmallows anymore, just fresh fruit and cereal. Get used to it fatty. If you want anything better go to Dairy Queen like everybody else. RedKiwi is the latest purveyor of the ice cream substitute to hit the Miami scene. So, head down to the new Coconut Grove location to get your frogurt kick. Just don’t fool yourself into thinking it’s nonfat. That’s just ludicrous. –P.B.
