Are you tired of wandering into late night pizza joints with nothing to greet you but four stained walls, a tiny slice of pizza dripping with grease, and a bitter attendant who wishes that his life was drawing to a close? Fortunately that is a pain that you will never have to know again…well, not in Miami anyways. Pizza Bar has arrived, bringing with it the convenience of late night wheel that we've all come to love, but with food of quality and a room that is actually appealing to eat food in. It's time you that started enjoying your after-the-bar dances with sweet lady pizza again.

Walk into this restaurant and you'll be greeted by sand-colored brick walls, a very damn classy wooden bar, and perhaps best of all, flat screen TVs constantly playing the greatest hits (pun intended) of Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro. Yep, nothing says "badass pizza joint" quite like a constant loop of bloody gangsta deaths. I know I can't enjoy a slice of pepperoni without watching at least one decapitation while I eat. But hey, that's just me. This place comes straight of the brains of the people who brought you OLA and the Sanctuary, and bring their high standards of quality along for the ride.

Baker Vito Giovinco serves up 30-inch pies with a uber thin crust and topped with San Marzano (nothin' but the best baby) tomato sauce and baked until it's an obscenely perfect golden brown. The pizza is consistently delicious and is guaranteed to please even when sober. Consumed after a night of a heavy drinking (and given that the weekend hours extend until 4:00am, this is a regular event) it can be simply astounding. Located within walking distance of most of the big clubs and hotel bars in Miami, you'll tend to see this place stocked with models and figures of the Miami highlife at their most intoxicated. Between that and the gangster movies, there is enough free entertainment to justify a late night trip here beyond the pizza. Visit. You won't regret it.

Fun and lively space, especially if you want to dine al fresco. You can people watch while sipping chilled wine and noshing on yummy pizza. The service can be a bit slow so don't go starving and plan on it taking some time.

I actually thought this spot was a bit lame. We need a little more ambition when it comes to pizza in South beach. Any Takers?

Actually. what is Diana talking about. You are posting a Da Guido comment on Pizza Bar! Do you think that might be why everybody is talking about... pizza? Moron.

I don't know what Peter is talking about, nice crust? On what? Da Guido's doesn't make Pizza, and the Restaurant is not small. If your looking for Authentic Italian then this is the place to be! If your looking for nice crust then try a Pizza joint, there are a few in the area!

Talk about walking into a Goodfella's movie...but the food was great. It felt like I was in New York, with the staff all wearing black. But did I mention the food was great...I highly recommend this place if you want a casual place to eat.

I guess I'm contradicting myself by giving this place max stars, but I'm sure the sight of my friend Rick and I sitting in a jeep feeding smokin' slices to each other at 2a.m. (note - I lived half a block away) probably caused some readers to lower their rankings.

Go late after midnight, great scene, everyone there seems to know each other, it's like a reunion a cool neighborhood atmosphere, and the pizza is just really, really, good pizza. Big screen TV's, Rock Music and Just Really Good Pizza, make it a great spot to hang-out. And that Pizza Guy he is a cool thing with the coif and the idea of the chairs with names of shallow people-nice touch. I just think they should change the name of this place to ... JUST REALLY GOOD PIZZA However PIZZA BAR IS THE REAL DEAL

The place is tiny inside, but we went on a Saturday, and the food wasn't great, but it was good - nice crust, nice toppings. The prices are not cheap, but the atmosphere, the service, and the food are worth it.
