Though the name Norman doesn’t really suggest an exciting epicurean adventure, those who are familiar with Chef Norman Van Aken’s New World cuisine can agree the menu is all but bland. Inspired from local ingredients, dishes south of the border, and an penchant for inventiveness, chef Norman’s flagship resto has remained a favorite with Miami locals for years.

The Key West Yellowtail Fillet in citrus butter with garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus spears is succulent and tasty and the sautéed local Red Snapper with a Veracruzana sauce, oyster mushrooms and tuber hash dish is equally delicious. Don’t venture out to no man’s land for New World cuisine – head to Norman’s.
