hen the Best-Steve-Guttenberg-Film debate comes up, most people say Police Academy (I'd agree). Others go with Three Men and a Baby. Though Diner was okay, Cocoon can kiss my ass. Occasionally, Short Circuit enters the argument; it's the dark horse, and a very worthy combatant. Following the moving adventures of robot Johnny Five as he deals with mechanized, AI-related existential searching, Short Circuit is one of the finer Guttenberg vehicles. I don't think that robots eat haute cuisine, but Guttenberg probably does.
Superstar chef, Johnny Vinczencz, doesn't cook for cinematic, metal life forms, though I'm sure he has served 80s stars. He brings his fawned-over Spanish-infused contempo fare to the Hotel Astor. Incidentally, whatever happened to Michael Winslow? |
