Chef Jason McLain has left the now defunct 8 1/2 Cafe and has taken over Harrison's Steakhouse (hence the name change). While the emerging chef will undoubtedly make some changes in the head chef role, he will still stay true to the established Harrison's style. That style includes Euro-cellar ambiance, an extensive wine list, and renowned service, that draws a steady stream of regulars. The food itself is defined by a simple approach that uses high quality bovine and limited spices. Nothing groundbreaking, but certainly nothing to complain about either. -P.B.
