This Nicaraguan hot spot serves plenty of sopas at spectacular prices so you don’t have to worry about breaking the bank when dining here. Full of low-key patrons who don’t beg for the spotlight (i.e. the non-leather tans, tight clothing, and greasy hair types of the usual party scene), you can dine here without being evaluated on your outfit, haircut and bank account when you step in the door.
The sopas change daily (variety is the spice of life, remember), so if you catch the Pescada a la Tipitapa one day, be grateful because it might not be there tomorrow. The Little Havana joint is perfect for a first date to snuggle and turn up the heat with South American cuisine. - E.J.
