ot to be confused with the well known New York gay nightclub of the same name, G Lounge is a new tapas restaurant upstairs from the Upper Eastside Garden, (which is getting a makeover of its own). Outfitted with 19th century Moroccan décor, the room is fitted with plush sofas and low tables for easy reclining and snacking. Desserts here are always winners. Expect an international menu; from scallop ceviche to Greek yogurt and crab, and lobster potato skins with chipotle aioli. Try the bread pudding with orange sauce, or the crème brulée trio, which includes a chai tea flavor. No need to worry if dishes seem indulgent, the portions are small and meant for sharing. But the dishes are affordable, which means that you get to try more, and you will leave satisfied!
