elve into a succulent steak or a flaky fillet as you admire the breathtaking Miami skyline while comfortably reclining on the plush furnishings. The Chart House restaurants have been a staple of elegant fine dining since the very first one opened its doors in 1961. Here we have a restaurant that takes its location as seriously as its food: their Weehawken location presents a stellar view of the Manhattan skyline, but of course you’ve already seen it a million times in movies. Start your adventure at the raw bar where the menu options include Crab, Avocado and Mango Stack, Seared, Peppered Ahi Tuna or a cocktail of shrimp so large they no longer befit their name.
A dinner menu which favors the seafood aficionado, choose from a vast selection of fresh fish entrees including the Snapper Hemingway – Parmesan and cracker encrusted snapper saunteed and topped with jumbo lump crab and shallot butter. If you don’t care for the sea creatures, the menu also features steak and chicken and pasta as well as one of the longest salad bars in the area. The atmosphere is part romantic, part business meeting but at night the suits go home and the couples come out. -L.D.
