ith so many authentic Italian restaurants lining the shore, it's got to be difficult to retain your originality.
An impressive menu with an array of authentic Italian dishes, Cafe Milano serves up mediocre Italian fare that is a far cry from its former reputation as an out-of-this world Italian restaurant.
Bresaola, a typically air-dried beef originating from northwest Italy is served up two ways at Milano's: thinly sliced with olive oil, lemon, salt and pepper or thinly sliced and served on a bed of arugula and topped with parmigiano, lemon, salt and pepper. If this doesn't float your boat, the risotto is always a sure bet.
Although the menu is peppered with what appear to be mouth-watering mains, cultivated carnivores and sophisticated foodies, you'd do better to go elsewhere.
