And the old-meets-new motif extends to the décor. Inspired by actual coffee, the walls and floors are made up in dark and light brown woods, while one entire wall is made out of silver coffee cans, floor to ceiling. The marble expresso bar and expresso machines look classic enough to be antiques, but are actually brand new for the store.

The café is intimate at best, with room for only about twenty people, but with this location and this brand, you can bet that those twenty seats will always be full, from opening at 7 a.m until 3 a.m. closing. Coffee just became hip.

I have eaten here a couple times and really enjoyed it. The food is very delicious. If you don't like a dish, you can send it back and they will gladly make it right for you. You can't lose. What separates Cafe Bustelo from other similar restaurants is the casual, fun atmosphere. At other comparable restaurants I'm afraid to sneeze, mispronounce the names of funky entrees or ask for suggestions from the wait staff. None of that snootiness exists at Cafe Bustelo!

Always a great spot for a light meal. Service is attentive but not on top of you. Bar makes great drinks. Personally I focus on the appetizers and entrees as the desserts are good, just not as good as everything else.

A little cranky, a little quirky but there isn't a poorly chosen item on the card. Especially great coffee selection.

We had to wait to get service for quite awhile, due to the crowd, and then when the food finally arrived, it was kind of mediocre. My sandwich was rather dry and didn't have much flavour to it.

It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't the greatest either.
