They say chocolate is an aphrodisiac due to it’s ability to heighten the senses and provide taste bud satisfaction to the nth degree. While cacao (the Spanish world for chocolate but also the name of the plant from which chocolate is derived) is not in every dish on the menu (who wants chocolate for dinner anyways?... well maybe breakfast), the sensuous nature of the sweet treat that appeals to all senses is evident in the Latin cuisine from Cacao’s kitchen. The Pan-Latin fare spans Mexico to Argentina (and everything in between) as chef Edgar Leal chooses the best dishes from each culture to offer at this Miami outlet.
