enowned Spanish restaurateur family, the Galans

recognize that a most sensual setting is created first and foremost by crisp white linens and fresh flowers, precisely the elements that adorn every table at Antigua Restaurant. Small candles flicker throughout the space, echoing the black and white film (hopefully not Un Chien Aldalou) projected onto one of the large walls.
Formerly the Macarena Restaurant but still adjacent to the nightclub of the same name, Antigua is the brainchild of Carlos Galan, whose family owns five restaurants of a similar caliber in Spain. Every detail, right down to the unique water jugs, has been meticulously planned by Galan and three set price menus ranging between $20 and $30 reflect his belief that fine dining should be intimate and affordable. Some mentionable mains include Chef Jose Roch's 'Famous Paella' and pan-seared tuna rolled in white and black sesame seeds. The tempting deserts include mango carpaccio with strawberry ceviche and green tea ice cream. For sharing, a swiss chocolate fondue with fruit duet.
Fall in love with the restaurant right before you fall in love with the person who brought you here.
