A Life In The Theatre :: Oct. 20 Nov. 15
avid Mamet, one of the world's greatest playwrights, presents a series of short scenes set in a theatre. We're introduced to a two actors (a veteran and a newbie) and watch their relationship develop both on stage and off. The concept is certainly a little inside, but the execution is surprisingly warm, funny, and true. It's lighter fare than Mamet normally tackles, but filled with excellent writing nonetheless.PB
Lunchbox Theatre, 115 9th Avenue South-East, Calgary, AB
