Calgary Galleries
hen you hear about an art exhibit with a name like Inter-Glacial Free Trade agency.ca, you wouldn't be weird to have no idea what to expect. Luckily for the artist, Lynn Richardson apparently wants to surprise and challenge viewers with her showing – so at least we know it was intentional and not something a little less sane.
Her art show is actually more focused on subtext rather than external appeal. Her show is aimed to explore the relationship between government and corporation by emulating marketing displays trying to sale the latest survival equipment; she's showing how political forces invisibly control the consumer. – M.K.
