Location: 12th Avenue, Calgary, Alberta
As Calgary continues to grow and expand, so too does the need for more high-end residences and hotels. Architect John Barlot is planning to build a new tower, the bottom four floors of which will be residences. Set back from a garden terrace, 72 units, for both condos and hotel use will comprise the budiling. The top 11 floors will be for those who have been the most successful at the oil game, they will house only two units each. A curved roof at the top of the 20-story glass tower will make this building stand out from all those flat roofers out there, as will the vehicle elevator for the valet's use. –C.S. | | |
