Following Hampton Inn and Hilton Garden Inn, mega-hotel-brand Hilton is invading Calgary yet again. This time they're gearing up for an extended stay. The new hotel will be an extension of Hilton's new Home2 Suites brand and will open near the Calgary airport. Unlike the other Calgary Hilton hotels, however, Home2Suites will be intended for visits of five days or more.
The suites will be about 323 square feet large, while the hotel will feature 120 rooms. Hilton are projecting a 2010 opening date, but since rarely does a hotel meet its announced opening, we'd advise you to gear your extended stay for 2011.
