Being a cowboy town, I understand it’s hard to part with the beloved check plaid shirts and leather boots (spurs included). But if you want to make the break and truly identify with NYC (as so many Calgary restaurants seem to do), then ZARA is a must. This urban apparel boutique stores the latest trends from Europe that give even Roots a run for their money.

Everything is sleek, casual, cook and sexy – kinda like Vancouver hipster crowd. What is a hipster you ask? Well it seems we have a lot to work on here. First recommendation: head to ZARA. Proceed to drop some dough, and then make your way to a music store for some Swedish pop tunes. You’re good to go from there.
