Hey kids! Do you like 50-year-old British folk singers? I know you do. And that’s why I’m so excited to let you know that none other than
Billy Bragg is coming to town. Bragg started out in the 1970s, singing a combination of pub rock and punk rock. Now he’s old and mellow. He’s all about acoustic guitars and while he may still sneak in the odd protest song, this guy mainly sings about love these days. Everyone under the age of 30 will be ecstatic.

With a moniker like
King Khan and BBQ Show, I was expecting food. Alas, I am wrong,
King Khan and BBQ Show don't cook, in fact this Montreal duo skewer doo-wop and punk… So you met someone who knocked you right off of your feet, goody-goody segues with I hate everything about you, but I still love you. Oh God, my ears, my ears!! In other news, these crazy kids recently had a run in with the law, and given
King Khan and BBQ Show's, wild stage antics and larger-than-life personalities, it's doubtful this is the first time the pair has had to battle it out with the long arm of the law. (Oh, and by the way, it wasn't
King Khan and BBQ Show's fault, it was drug addled tour manager, so please don't mention this or ask for any magic mushrooms)!

Okay, thus far we've seen an aging rocker, an eclectic band of trouble-makers and we will end with the
Winter Gloves… With only a handful of live shows under their belts the
Winter Gloves enjoyed the opportunity of a lifetime while touring with
The D'Urbervilles,
Jealous Girlfriends and
Tokyo Police Club. And now, Broken City will give you a chance to get to know and love these
Winter Gloves too! Here's a brief introduction,
Charles F. on vocals, Wurlitzer and organ,
Vincent Chalifour on synth bass and keyboards,
Jean-Michel Pigeon on guitar and glockenspiel, and
Patrick Sayers on drums.
Winter Gloves started from the ground up by throwing copies of their first album,
Let Me Drive, into the crowd at their live shows, (but it was later released on
Paper Bag Records and
iTunes).
