Although Kelly Clarkson is a whiny, over-produced cog on the grotesque wheel of the large label music industry, she is, with the exception of Fantasia Barrino, the only legitimate talent to emerge from the show American Idol. With that said, her perpetual habit of cancelling appearances has kept her, in the last while, out of the public eye. I conjecture that it is Clarkson's southern penchant for all things deep-fried that have impelled her to remain in her jammies at home and away from the stage. Nonetheless, the brunette with the lovely vibrato is ready for the Western Canadian stage. Kelly Clarkson plays the Pengrowth Saddledome tonight . More But if slightly over-the-hill teeny-boppers is not your thing, you can go check out some stand-up comedy – a form of entertainment chock-full of performers that are legitimately over-the-hill. Tonight, Funny Fest presents its Grey Cup Festival, featuring Kelly Taylor. Despite what you may think Taylor's act is not a sardonic reinterpretation of Jennie Garth's character from 90210 of yore. Rather the veteran, who has appeared on Comedy Now, Just For Laughs and more, will definitely offer some edgy stuff. Kelly Taylor plays Funny Fest tonight.

Wow, I'll probably never come back to this site again... Shame. Kelly Clarkson, while sadly overproduced at times, is a true talent (which you would know if you had any real musical insight). Her vocal abilities are matched by very few.
And anonymous, just because I (and I think I can speak for "we") am a Kelly Clarkson fan, doesn't mean I don't like some of "your great music." It just simply doesn't get better than Kelly Clarkson in pop music. A singer who doesn't resort to sex appeal to sell records and doesn't feel the need to be anorexic to be happy/popular. Hmm, there is actually a respectable female music artist in the pop industry...

Who are you? How dare you call Kelly Clarkson whiny?Over produced? Have you ever seen Kelly Clarkson Live?? She is one of the most down to earth girl next door! She has one of the best voices in Pop music today. I may be bais because I am a fan! However most people I know , fan or not gives her credit for her vocal ability! Her concerts consist of her and her band. No fancy dancers or side Showa just her vocal ability!

Kelly Clarkson is the greatest singer of the decade. She has the most amazing vocals I have ever heard. I have seen her in concert 3 times, and she takes my breath away every time. Her voice gives me chills. She is so great live that she only needs her voice and band. No circus acts or dancers needed for this truly talented and gifted singer/performer. Kelly sings with such emotion that it will make you cry, and the next minute she will be rocking the house down. Kelly has fans of many different ages. I am 46 yrs old, and I have all of her music. I will be a fan of hers forever!!! Go to the concert. She will rock your world.

Ha, You've lost a lot of credibility in my eyes after reading this. You obviously have no idea what you are talking about, so you really have no business writing about it. You are under the common misconception that all pop music is over-produced crap. You are, of course, wrong, and you look foolish. I enjoy a wide variety of artists and genres, from Asia and Chicago to Celine Dion to Kelly Clarkson. It would appear that this writer is ignorant of a few things. Mrs. Clarkson always appears to be a very humble, down to earth kind of girl. While she is not thin like she use to be(after all, she is a singer and not a model), she is a fantastic singer that can sing any genre well. Since she has sold over 20-million CD's, I'm guessing a few others agree with me. I am only aware of her blasting a few people who appear to deserve it. i.e. the guy that was rude to Taylor Swift. She does seem to especially dislike dishonest people that hurt others, so I guess that would include a couple of people who are ignorantly writing false information on this review about Mrs. Clarkson.
It is interesting that her live concerts are better than her CD's, so I guess the part about her being over produced is also a lie. Next time, check the facts in order to present an unbiased view point.
