he Silver Inn Restaurant features a Beijing-style menu with delicious items such as ginger beef. This dish can be served many ways, but Silver Inn offers a sweet and spicy take on this classic, with plenty of sauce for finger-licking goodness.
The Silver Inn first introduced ginger beef in 1974. Back in the day, this was hip and cutting edge, as typical Chinese cuisine offered items such as chow mein and spring rolls. This specialty dish is coated in ginger and chili, and fried to deliciousness. I’m not entirely sure how long “deliciousness” is minutes-wise, but it’s pretty much perfection to the appreciative palate.
The Silver Inn also offers a full Pekinese menu. Again, this was one of the first restaurants to offer this type of cuisines, although it is vastly popular now. Since so many Asian restaurants feature similar flavors, The Silver Inn is worth a trip just to taste their succulent ginger beef.
