n the city that hosts Canada’s only stampede, it’s fair to assume some cowboys will be riding into town. After a long day riding bucking broncos, you can hang your spurs at the door and head on into the Ranche. Due to the lack of OK Corral’s in the downtown core, these men and women with lassoes rope a cold one on the patio of this venue that reminds them of a true Western hide out. From the screen door on the patio to the wrap around porch to the hundred year history of the Ranche’s existence, this venue has housed many a rowdy ruffian who call this place home while on the road. Live entertainment on the weekends will have you line dancing with the locals, which makes the venture down Bow Bottom Trail well worth the trek.

For you tired cowboys, The Ranche is a relaxing atmosphere located down Bow Bottom Trail in Fish Creek Park – about half and hour South of cowtown. Lasso your lady and treat her to an evening of rustic elegance by the fireplace in the dining room. The French cuisine with the welcoming Western hospitality provides the ultimate atmosphere for understated romance. This dining excursion is well worth the trek.
