Considering the immense popularity of Thai Orchid pre-liquor license (it's currently pending), I think it’s safe to say that Chanthaseng and Sananikone are in it for the long haul. Perhaps Thai Orchid could promote some healthy competition. Go get your peanut noodle fix. –J.T.

Of course, there are some that serve really, really bad food reserved for our tourists friends who don't know any better, but Thai Orchid, a new Thai outpost, is usually a pretty good bet for Thai comfort food. Worth the trek.

There are way too many Chinese restaurants in Calgary and, trouble is, a lot of them serve up really bad food. Of course, there are some that serve really, really bad food reserved for our tourists friends who don't know any better, but Thai Orchid, a new Thai outpost, is usually a pretty good bet for Thai comfort food. Worth the trek.
