Sushi Hiro rolled around the corner, surprising his nemesis, Giant Oven, and firing a barrage of rice from his eyes and seaweed from his fingertips. Oven turned up the heat, but Sushi beat him raw.

    Sorry for that.

As a society of information junkies, quivering and craving, the flaws of our heroes come more easily to light. The internet, office forwards, and instant messenger, expediently relay gossip and salacious personal details. Our heroes can not save themselves from the always-watching eye and ever-expanding scope of mass media. More than simply humanizing them, we are driving back, transforming them into restraunteurs. Case in point: Sushi Hiro.

I've never been turned away due to not having a reservation.

That said, their sushi is good, and service is decent. Prices are higher than other sushi joints, but not excessive.

No stars, not even one I give them and here is why: Twice I have tried to eat at this place over the last 4 months, both times I was turned away becuase I did not have a reservation. Nowhere in their menu nor website do they mention this! But thats not the problem, its the waitresses that so rudely tell you, not ask you, that you need to leave, that's right, today that is how the japanese girl put it after I sat at the sushi bar after waiting for ten minutes at the entrance for someone to even acknowledge, no eye contact, no gesture as to even let me know "I'll be right with you", I took the liberty of doing it as but right away as if stung by a bee, she came running to ask me to get up becuase as she bluntly put it, there is not room right now, come back in 45 minutes. Wow, rude, very rude!
