he nautical theme of this pub might signal to some an East Coast pub, but all the fun is had in tricking the newbies. Portraits of gruff sailors who undoubtedly have the requisite anchor tattoo, adorn the walls in hopes of inspiring beer-guzzling patrons to hold their booze like a man, or else sink like an anchor into a sea of drunken stupor (which could be fun).
If you find your belly a-swelling and the familiar nautious vibe of seasickness overwhelming, there’s a menu of tasty pub dinners and snacks to soak up the alcohol and restore you to a reasonably semi-conscious state. The patio also helps to provide fresh air when the claustrophobia sets in (if the weather is seasonable). A well-practice “Yar!” is mandatory before entry.
