enny has an unrequited love for Carl. I feel bad for Lenny, but one can't blame Carl. He could do better; Lenny's a slob. Maybe you would chastise Carl for staying friends with Lenny, leading him on, but he has made his feelings, or lack thereof, clear on several occasions. He is not to blame. It is a melancholy tale indeed.

On the other hand, Senor Carlos' love for the grill is requited and long-standing. It's not a passing, high school style love. Though they met early in childhood, they stayed friends until they were secure as individuals. Then, tentaively, softly at first, they went a little further. And a little further. And a litte further, though not in a living-in-sin way. Today, we have Senor Carlos' Mexican Grill: a totem of their love.
