t Ric’s Grill, the Calgary’s Cowtown alias is put to the test where patrons are served a selection of Alberta’s AAA grade and Prime beef. Fortunately, Ric’s does not falter in the grilling department as patrons receive supremely charred beef that’s far from the mooing state it once was (unless you specifically request an ultra rare cut). There’s no better place than the patio to dine on that scrumptious steak, but watch out for the bugs (i.e. mosquitoes, etc.) who want a piece of the action. Unlike your prime rib’s former incarnation, humans don’t have tails to swipe those pesky flies away. - E.J.

1 Reader Reviews | We just had supper with some friends (4 of us total). One of the dishes, Pistachio Halibut was quite bland and Wild salmon a bit dry, but overall food was decent. My frustration is about service, our server was quite bad, she seemed rather friendly at the beggining and then forgot about us/table for quite a bit, while she talked to the next table for long periods of time, we didn't get the service they got, she dropped some food on the floor, never cleaned it, fortunately, another server came to the rescue, otherwise dinner would have been a really bad experience due to service.
