t's a floating sushi bar, which means they make sushi floats. That's a pint of root bear, vanilla ice cream, and your favourite sushi served to chilled perfection.
Admit it: you want one now. -D.M.

10 Reader Reviews | When he yelled at me I wanted to throw the free Pocky chocolates at him! Any owner who treats his patrons the way that we were treated can not be described as 'fantastic'.

Our group travels to Calgary to work, and we always make time for a visit to Kinjo. We've never had a bad experience -- the owner is fantastic & gives out free Pocky chocolates to patrons. It's a great place to go for dinner and a show.

My husband and I had the worst experience at Kinjo Sushi. Our waiter lost our order and we had to wait for a very long time for our food as a result. Not all of the food we ordered was served to us either. When we asked for the bill we asked for a discount because of the wait and the owner YELLED at us. He screamed that we should leave and never come back over and over again. When I tried to explain why we had asked for a discount (we did not ask for a free meal) he ignored me, was rude and insisted that the chefs apologize to us. If he had just listened...
We do not recommend this establishement to anyone. Obviously the owner makes too much money to care about his customers.

Excellent! Very good sushi, fresh and tasty. They have this yellow spicy sauce which is just awesome. Been there a few times and Peter Kinjo (owner) always comes by and threatens me with the knife if I don't repeat what he wants, its just fun. The best part is that it is very well priced (3 full happy people for about $50!). Enjoy and support this fine establishment.
