2 Reader Reviews | We went to the the restaurant on a Monday evening. The restaurant was full, therefore, sat in the lounge to eat. We have never seen such poor service by a waitress. Once we ordered our food, it was just over an hour before receiving it. She had to come back and ask us what we had ordered. Then at the table over from us, she knocked over the sour cream/bacon bits/chives dish all over the floor. For such a good establishment, you expect better. Food was good though, once we received it.

We had an 8:30pm reservation and did not get seated until 9:00pm. We were not even offered a seat in the lounge to have a drink while we waited, nor was a simple apology offered. The waitress took our drink orders and took over 20 minutes to return with them. We were seated in between two tables of 20 people each all belonging to the same party. The party of 40 diners cursed, wouldn't sit down, bumped into our chairs constantly, fought with each other, etc. They were so loud and disruptive, the 6 of us at our table had to yell at each other to have a conversation. Our meal was sub-par for the cost, we could have had a more quality dinner elsewhere. No one was offered a second drink, we had to ask to see the desert menu more than once, we weren't asked how our meal was, the waitress didn't even wait around for us to cut into our steaks to make sure it was cooked to preference. Even when it came to delivering our bill, we weren't even asked if we would like separate bills (we were a group of 3 couples). Upon paying we asked to speak to a manager and as it turned out, our unprofessional waitress was the only "supervisor" on duty on a Saturday night. When we explained our concerns to her, she was rather defensive and told us that we were lucky that the other party of 20+ that was scheduled to dine that night wasn't there our the interruptions would have been worse and that the rowdy party of 40 had already been told to settle down. In the end, nothing was resolved, we weren't offered any discount on our $230.00 bill or even a dessert. Our waitress / the supervisor could have cared less when we voiced our concerns and told us to talk to the manager at a later date if we had a problem. I've had better service and a more professional atmosphere at HUMPTYS!!
