A table for 3 people was booked a day in advance, upon arrival we were sEated in the entrance on a table for 3, two sat on a sofa and a third seat was a high cushion unsuitalbe for a restaurant. The food was OK, The price was outrageous. I was given my bill at the same time when the plates were picked up, short of saying you should leave, when asking for coffee, the response was we do not serve coffee, is there anything else you want.
I have been to many restaurants in the wolrd, the service at this restaurant is demeaning and delivered with rudeness. I WILL NOT COME NOR WILL ALLOW ANY OF MY FRIENDS IN CALGARY TO VISIT FOR A TRY.
IF YOU WANT EAST INDIAN FOOD GO MOTTI MAHAL.

Did a work lunch for 8 people. Small portions, surprisingly bland, slow service. Server could not coordinate bringing food and clearing in the same visit. Will not return - long way to go to on quality, quantity and service. Save your money, Glory of India or Moti Mahal easily exceed at lower cost

I found that the restaurant was a fantastic place to dine in. Walking inside, you really get a trendy, urban Indian feeling which was great for the younger generations. I, personally, thought the service was great because our waitress was always helping us right when we needed it. What also fascinated me was the co-ed washrooms which I thought was a spectacular concept. The food isn't your typical traditional Indian food. It has a modern twist to it, which can be agreed upon most people. I find that traditional Indian food can be too overwhelming at times but the food at Mango Shiva was balanced to perfection! Overall, I would definately come back.

A friend and I were walking by saturday night and looked into the stunning space. The place was packed so we ventured in. We were offered wine while we waited in their basement lounge and then were invited to have a seat at the bar. Not a hugh fan however this bar is comfy. We had the best pakoras, butter chicken and lamb we have ever had at an indian place. For the vibe in this place which was kinda exotic and the prices; our bill was under $80, this place was a great discovery. My friend from TO was commenting how New York or London this place is. Highly recommend it.

This place kills it. The room is hot as well as the service, music, and food. Nothing better in town. I love this place.

Had the best indian ever. Tried the pakoras and calamari which I have always loved and it was spot on. For dinner the lamb and Trio of curried vegebles was fantastic. Great prices, thoughtful wine list, beautiful unpretentious sevice, Calgary defintely needs more like this. The space is breath taking. Had a great meal. Pretty sweet for a place that just opened.

Having been to India and had the real deal I am dissapointed at the overall taste and service.I was reminded by a server of Vij in Vancouver.Well they havent even scratched the surface of what it takes to become a place like Vij.They are nothing but a cheap copy that has none of the substance.First you must start with amazing service, second world class food which is a loss on both accounts.Go back to your Day JObs

Wow! what a disaster. They really should have stuck to there original concept, because this one aint working. The food was nothing to write home about, and the server Meagan was aweful. There is a desperate feeling to the way the service happens in this place, no ambience. It almost seems like everyone has just given up before your food even gets to you.what a downward spiral!

this Restaurant should never have reopened its doors. The food it horrific. It tasted watered down and microwaved.I found that the service was absolutely terrible and the only place that you could get decent service was at the bar at lunch, but having gone in three times now, Its a definate no no to ever returning I have had the owner niel buy my lunch twice and the third time i just walked out.I wiuld go any where but here and sincerely regretted ever going in in the first place

Went their for dinner the other night before catching a gig downtown, and it was AWESOME!!! The butter chicken was without a doubt the best i have ever tasted. Our server Megan was very attentive and friendly, and I really enjoyed the pairing suggestions on the wine menu, and the design of the place was breathtaking! You have got to check this place out, its one of the best Calgary has to offer!

Mango Shiva's menu is always fun for a newbie. The different variations just boggles my mind.
My companion had a curry bowl. He liked it. I forget what I had, but the warm naan was a great trea. That always gets bonus points from me.

This place was a good to grab a nice dinner before catching a show. Service was scattered, but I the curry dishes, and the wine was great too. The atmosphere is cozy and warm. Shall try again when they find their groove.
