 Not only is Robert DeNiro a successful Oscar winning actor and convincing mob boss, he’s also a wiz in the real estate and hospitality biz. After holding down Tribeca with the film fest and The Downtown hotel in NYC, a hotel venture in Miami was the logical choice for the star to invest.
Since its opening, many A-list friends have holed up at the Shore (i.e. Jay Z, Beyonce, Janet Jackson…etc.) not only for the sleek lodgings but also the premium privacy provided by the stellar security force to keep away sneaky paps (remember what happened to the photog’s camera in The Godfather?).
Boasting a sprawling pool, patio and garden area, there is essentially no reason to mingle with those less than A-list. If the need to head to the clubs should occur, the concierge can arrange a limo service for your entourage to travel in style. However, with a rooftop spa, three restaurants and four bars, why would you bother?
