But those artists well off enough to afford a stay at the Hotel Arts will not be disappointed. The hotel, which recently went through a $10 million renovation, is now full of funky twists on the ever-popular urban-chic boutique hotel that you’ll find throughout most of Europe and New York City.

The hotel houses two of Calgary’s most talked-about restaurants, the Raw Bar at the Arts and Saint Germain. The Raw Bar now allows guests to dine by the pool in the Miami-style pool patio, a great place to kick back with a colourful drink and dream of South Beach.

If you feel like going all out, you could get a pool suite overlooking the hip pool lounge or a Jacuzzi suite with its own Jacuzzi (you get the picture). With its central location, this is the hotel of choice for the Calgary Stampede or really any other Calgary event.

The hotel is centrally located near shopping, theatre, dining, and the Calgary Stampede (hell yeah). Hotel Arts is both cool and classy, perfect for the Bohemian artist type or the business-casual working man. It is truly unlike any other Calgary hotel.
