    The President Hotel Though The President Hotel has been located at Times Square for years, the affordable New York lodging has been given a makeover that would definitely draw tears from Stacey and Clinton. Brought to you by Stonehill & Taylor, the design team behind the trendy Crosby Street Hotel, the new and improved President Hotel has a modish aesthetic that belies the notion that it is actually a Best Western.

    The multi-million dollar renovation of this New York hotel transformed a somewhat stale template design into a 334-room boutique style hotel with mod homages to the nation's presidents – don't worry W is not amongst the honorees. Bright white linens, platform beds, and teak and bamboo accents keep the guestrooms chic. While oversized lamps, exposed brick walls and tufted retro furniture keep the lobby area grounded in the now.

    So now that the President Hotel is renewed, hotel seekers who thought they couldn't afford to stay in a trendy boutique hotel in the heart of Manhattan can happily chant, "Yes we can!" – E.H
