 British Hoteliers and owners of the charmingly whimsical Firmdale Hotel Group, Tim and Kit Kemp, have finally carved out for themselves an eclectic enough spot in America. On October 1, The Crosby Street Hotel opened its 11 adorable stories with precious views onto the heart of New York's SoHo district.
Each of design director Kit Kemp's 86 uniquely dressed rooms features an LCD flat screen, iPod docking station, WiFi and custom-made Miller Harris bath products. In addition to the in-room amenities, The Crosby St. Hotel has a lovely courtyard, a good-sized gym, and most interestingly a private movie theatre/screening room. And, should you be lucky enough to find yourself luxuriating in the small hotel's top-floor suites, then you will also have the pleasure of 360-degree skyline views.
Even putting British politeness aside for brash American manners, the Crosby Street Hotel leaves very little room for complaints. – E.H
