t is worth staying in The Westin Grand simply for the view. Each room in the hotel either looks over the grand cityscape of downtown Vancouver or the snowcapped Rocky Mountains that stand tall over the city.
The rooms in the Westin Grand are furnished in a contemporary style. The furniture is sleek yet inviting and the beds are heavenly. Floor-to-ceiling windows help to maximize each room’s view. Instead of the usual mini-bar, the Westin has outfitted all of its rooms with convenience kitchens, so cooking yourself a little snack is not out of the question. Oak wood desks with cordless phones and voicemail ensure that business will continue on as planned.
The Westin is a vibrant and multi-cultural neighborhood full of award-winning restaurants, great shopping and diverse nightlife. The hotel also advertises to the gay community since marriage has become a more liberal event on the west side of Canada in recent years.
Aria is the hotel restaurant and it features Italian cuisine with an Asian twist.
Visit the Westin Grand to experience the multi-cultural and diverse experiences Vancouver has to offer. –J.T.
