    Hotel GiraffeThose tall hotels, spotted with windows sporadically from bottom to top, could resemble the spotted giraffe prints (at least the neck), though I doubt that’s where this hotel’s moniker originated. This quaint boutique hotel, numbering only 73 rooms, has a personal feel that provides a sense of comfort for out of town visitors.

    Flat panel televisions in every room, that oh-so-important mini-bar, and complimentary NY Sport’s Club passes make the visit that much more about relaxation even if traveling for business. –E.J.
