old on now, hear me out. I know this isn’t anything trendy like the Drake of the Gladstone, and all your hipster friends might look down on you for staying in a Holiday Inn Express, but it really is worth it. First and foremost, you can’t go wrong with the location, walking distance from most of Toronto’s touristy destinations: Yonge Street, the Eaton’s Centre, the CN Tower, the list goes on. To stay in such a prime location would usually cost an arm, a leg, and an internal organ of your choosing. That’s not the case here.
Now obviously this isn’t the Four Seasons in Yorkville; don’t expect a giant sweet with a spa and hotel servants that will pamper you. But do expect 196 clean rooms with all the necessities and amenities you’d want from a hotel. And free breakfast, which is actually pretty good. Am I really that crazy for suggesting a simple and cheap hotel alternative?
No, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn last night.
