    Hotel Shelley Built in 1931, the Hotel Shelley could be the setting for a modern noir film because it still retains much of its original splendor despite modern upgrades. Be warned however, most of the hotel is dimly lit so putting on make-up after the sun goes down could prove to be difficult. The hotel has added in-room safes, marble bathrooms, mini bars and (the best part) free drinks from 7pm-8pm. Don't be surprised if you see Humphrey Bogart lounging in the lobby.The beach-side bar is open late every night. -L.D
