  've never been a Phish fan, but I had a neighbor that loved them. He dreamed of following them around. One day, while sitting in a dorm room in Canada, he put "Farm House" on his Walkman, put on his backpack, and headed south to find Phish. I never saw him again, though I like to think that he ended up at Beach House.
Beach House in Bal Harbor is a 165 room hotel fittingly located on the, um, beach. The rooms, slightly funky, have a welcoming cottage aura. Amenities include a beach-front pool (it's not redundant), free Wi-Fi, and onsite spa. Don't expect Phish Heads and you won't be disappointed. -S.T.
