    Eden Roc HotelDon't get me wrong, I love my post-lapsarian existence, but once in a while it's good to go back to Eden; or even better, to go to a resort (no snakes). Eden Roc, located steps from the beach, is a 349 room (round numbers suck) landmark that has been welcoming celebrities and leisure-seekers for over 50 years. Recently refurbished, the Roc still has its trademark marble (the bathtubs are marble too). Many rooms have stunning ocean-facing balconies. An Eden trip is much better than losing a rib and being cast out into pleb land. -S.T.
